Program Terms Overview
Understanding your rights and responsibilities as a BoatDockr affiliate
These terms govern your participation in the BoatDockr affiliate program. By joining and participating, you agree to abide by these rules and policies. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time with reasonable notice to affiliates.
Commission Structure & Eligibility
Commission Details
- $5 commission per qualified boat listing
- One commission per seller - only the first paid listing counts
- No commissions on renewals or additional listings
- $25 minimum payout threshold - commissions accumulate until threshold is met
Eligibility Requirements
For Commissions to Be Paid:
- Referral must be a new BoatDockr seller (not existing user)
- Seller must publish a paid listing ($10/month minimum)
- 30-day fraud protection period must pass
- Your affiliate balance must reach $25 minimum
Prohibited Activities
Strictly Forbidden:
- Creating fake accounts or self-referrals
- Using bots, scripts, or automated traffic generation
- Spam advertising or unsolicited email marketing
- False or misleading claims about BoatDockr services
- Violating any applicable laws or regulations
- Using trademarked terms improperly
High-Risk Activities (Use Caution):
- Paid advertising (must disclose affiliate relationship)
- Cookie stuffing or typo-squatting
- Incentivizing referrals beyond normal commissions
Program Rules & Policies
Account Management
- Affiliate accounts are free and require no upfront payment
- Email verification required within 7 days of signup
- Accounts inactive for 6+ months may be deactivated
- One affiliate account per person/organization
Payout Policies
- Instant payouts available once $25 minimum reached and 30-day hold passed
- $25 minimum balance required for payout
- Stripe Connect payout method supported
- Instant processing - payouts processed immediately upon request
Tracking & Attribution
- 30-day cookie attribution window
- First-click attribution (first affiliate link clicked wins)
- Real-time dashboard updates
- Commission disputes must be filed within 30 days
Termination & Program Changes
Account Termination
BoatDockr reserves the right to terminate affiliate accounts for violations of these terms:
- • Fraudulent activity or self-referrals
- • Violation of prohibited activities
- • Breach of applicable laws
- • Failure to maintain active account
- • Upon written notice with 30-day grace period
Upon termination, all pending commissions are forfeited and account access is permanently disabled.
Program Modifications
We may modify the affiliate program terms with reasonable notice:
- • Commission rates and payout thresholds
- • Eligibility requirements
- • Prohibited activities list
- • Payout schedules and methods
Changes will be communicated via email and dashboard notifications with at least 30 days advance notice.
